A lot of my free time is now devoted to writing the Formika rules. And then rewriting them over and over again. I decided to spend an afternoon doodling concepts, above of which is a small selection. What do you think of their look? I'd like to involve community feedback in this project.

I kinda imagine that if this ever makes it I should be able to find a hyper-realistic image of one of these weeping warriors as they are about to fell one more member of the opposition with a fistful a' spores. Naturally from the POV of said opposition.

Oooh, certainly seems like something interesting and new. A twist of civilization behind something that already exists. And the weeping...that is certainly a great way of describing that.
In a way, you'd think that it'd be impossible to wipe these ones out.....but aside from Genocide, I can imagine a couple ways to take care of the problem, once all the others know of their existence and true danger. If anyone one does notice...
Can't wait to see more!

Neat. I did notice that in the full-body profiles, their waists are barely there. Being thin is one thing, but they look like they would snap off under the weight of the upper body.
